Repsol Honda Moto dominated the Spanish Grand Prix free practice at the Jerez circuit, Friday, April 1, 2011. Casey Stoner led the first session, while his colleague Dani Pedrosa fastest appearing in the second session.Pedrosa local time this afternoon managed to record the best time, 1 minute 40,101 seconds. Incision was 0.188 seconds better than teammate Stoner time record which was second.
Not easy for Pedrosa to be the fastest in second free practice this afternoon. The reason, the Spaniard had to fight with arm injury and the plan would increase the operating table, next Sunday.
Meanwhile, Yamaha rider Jorge Lorenzo managed to improve his performance in the second free practice. Once in fifth position in the morning, Lorenzo went up to 3rd order in the next session.
Former teammate Lorenzo, Valentino Rossi had to settle for fifth position. The Doctor who is now defending the flag of Ducati was only able to carve the best time in second free practice 1 minute 40,965 seconds.
