Attendance Robot House was inaugurated by the Minister of Research and Technology Suharna Surapranata, Saturday, December 11, 2010. Suharna hoped the presence of World Robotic Explorer can be a place of innovation, particularly for the younger generation.
"The key to successfully compete in the 21st century is the innovation. The house robots will be a place that gave birth to innovation for the younger generation," said Suharna.
World Presence Robotic Explorer also regarded as the home of the world's first robot. Therefore, the Indonesian Record Museum (MURI) also gave a special award.
"I think this is the first not only in Indonesia. Because it gives MURI award Houses Robot World First in Indonesia," said Jaya Suprana from MURI.
In addition, there were also Bruno Maisonnier of Nao Foundation, which introduced a robot named Nao. Nao robot can be programmed to interact with humans, even to dance.
On this occasion, Bruno Nao Foundation hopes to participate in developing a robotic world in Indonesia. One of them is in the field of robotics education.
"The world robotics is a new adventure of the 21st century. A lot of work to be done with various programs. This is a valuable investment in the future," said Bruno.
