Milky Way from the Highest Mountain

A photographer from Norway managed to record a video of the Milky Way's best position.

With a height of 3718 feet, El Teide which is the highest mountain in Spain, is one of the best places to take pictures of the sky and the stars. Teide observatories known as one of the world's best observatory also there.

Using the camera and lens Canon 5D Mark II, Canon 17mm TSE, Canon 16-35mm II, Canon 24/1.4II, and Sigma 12-24mm, Terje Sorgjerd, Norwegian professional photographers, video capture Milky Way from 4 to 11 April 2011 of those places.

In that period, Sorgjerd managed to take pictures of our galaxy as well as beautiful views of El Teide mountain.

When taking pictures, Sorgjerd mentioned, a major sandstorm hit the Sahara desert on April 9 and about at 3 diniharinya dust cloud arrived at El Teide, making Sorgjerd can not see the sky without the aid of tools. However, the camera is set automatically to record the sky was able to take pictures with the good.
