Vice President: Complete Plantation Land Dispute

Minister of Home Affairs, Gamawan Fauzi and all relevant parties asked to help.

Vice President Boediono ask the Minister of the Interior, Gamawan Fauzi and all relevant parties to help resolve disputes between citizens of plantation land with a private company.

"Indeed, I think, there must be concerted efforts to resolve. This issue (land dispute) involving the community. And I want everyone to be involved. So, I ask Mr Home Minister to say a few things for this problem,"Boediono said when he heard complaints directly from rubber farmers in the hamlet Rasau, Batanghari district, Jambi, Saturday, March 2, 2011.

In a dialogue with the vice president, one of the rubber farmer representatives, said Habibullah, a lot of land belonging to farmers who snatched a big company. "Many large companies taking over the land owned by residents. We asked Mr. Vice President made ​​the team from the center, joined the team of district and provincial levels. As residents are generally in farming," he said.
